The canton of Armagnac-Ténarèze is a French canton in the Occitanie region . It is located in the Arrondissement Condom des Départements Gers . The seat of the administration is located in the municipality of Eauze.

The canton is located in the north of the department.
history
The canton was created on March 22, 2015 as part of the reorganization of the cantons. Until 2015, its communes belonged to the cantons of Montréal (9 communes), Condom (5 communes) and Eauze (2 communes). With the merger of Castelnau-d'Auzan and Labarrère to form the new municipality of Castelnau d'Auzan Labarrère , the number of municipalities fell to just 15 on January 1, 2016.

Elections to the Council of the Gers Department
In the elections on March 22, 2015, no party achieved a majority. In the second ballot on March 29, 2015, Patricia Esperon / Michel Gabas ( UMP ) won against Nicolas Labeyrie / Carole Rolando ( PS ) and Thomas Guasch / Stéphanie Langui ( FN ) with 42.18% of the votes ( Voter turnout: 67.23%).
