Touget ( Occitan : Tojet ) is a municipality with 512 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitania region of southern France . The municipality is part of the Condom arrondissement and belongs to the canton of Gimone-Arrats and was part of the canton of Cologne until 2015 . The inhabitants are called Tougetois .

location

Touget is located about 45 kilometers west-northwest of Toulouse on the Gimone . Touget is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Orens in the north, Sirac in the northeast, Saint-Germier in the east, Escornebœuf in the south, Sainte-Marie in the west and south-west and Mauvezin in the north-west.
