Sainte-Marie ( Gascon Senta Maria ) is a French commune with 429 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement Auch and the canton Gimone-Arrats (until 2015 Gimont ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Mariens .

Sainte-Marie is located about 45 kilometers west-northwest of Toulouse . Neighboring municipalities are Mauvezin in the north, Touget in the east and northeast, Escornebœuf in the south and southeast, Aubiet in the west and southwest, Blanquefort in the west and Saint-Sauvy in the northwest.
