Marestaing ( Gaskognisch Marestanh ) is a French commune with 319 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitania region . It belongs to the arrondissement Auch and the canton L'Isle-Jourdain . The inhabitants are called Marestaingois .

geography

Marestaing is about 34 kilometers west of Toulouse . Neighboring municipalities are Monferran-Savès in the north and northwest, L'Isle-Jourdain in the northeast, Auradé in the east and southeast, Endoufielle in the south, Castillon-Savès in the south and southwest and Frégouville in the west.
