Caillavet ( Calhavèth in Gaskognisch ) is a French commune with 204 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitania region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Auch and the canton of Fezensac . Caillavet is also a member of the Artagnan de Fezensac community association founded in 2003 . The inhabitants are called Caivalletois (es) .

Caivallet is located west of the Osse about 22 kilometers west-northwest of the small town of Auch . Caivallet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vic-Fezensac in the north and north-west, Saint-Jean-Poutge in the north-east, Biran in the east, Riguepeu and Bazian in the south, Tudelle in the south-west and Roquebrune in the west.
