Sémézies-Cachan ( Gascon : Semesias e Caishan) is a French municipality with 66 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement Auch and the municipality association Coteaux Arrats Gimone . The residents call themselves Séméziens / Séméziennes .

geography

Sémézies-Cachan is located around 19 kilometers south-east of Auch in the south-east of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The river Lauze partially forms the western boundary of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Lartigue in the northwest and north, Saramon in the northeast, Saint-Élix-d'Astarac in the east, Simorre in the south and Faget-Abbatial in the west.
