Tirent-Pontéjac ( Gascon : Tirent e Pontejac) is a French municipality with 89 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement Auch and the municipality association Coteaux Arrats Gimone . The residents call themselves Tirentains / Tirentaines .

geography

Tirent-Pontéjac is located around 20 kilometers south-east of Auch in the south-east of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The river Gimone partially forms the western boundary of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Bédéchan in the north, Aurimont in the northeast, Polastron in the east, Saint-Martin-Gimois in the southeast, Saramon in the south and southwest and Boulaur in the west.
