Saint-Martin-Gimois ( Gascon : Sent Martin Gimoés) is a French municipality with 91 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement Auch and to the community association Communauté de communes des Coteaux Arrats Gimone . The residents call themselves Saint-Martinais / Saint-Martinaises .
geography
Saint-Martin-Gimois is located around 23 kilometers south-east of Auch in the south-east of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The Marcaoue river forms part of the eastern municipal boundary.
Neighboring communities are Polastron in the north, Saint-Soulan in the east, Mongausy in the south, Saramon in the west and Tirent-Pontéjac in the northwest.
