Sainte-Christie ( Gascon Senta Crestia ) is a French municipality with 553 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (before 2016 Midi-Pyrenees ). It belongs to the arrondissement Auch and the canton Gascogne-Auscitaine (until 2015 Auch-Nord-Ouest ). Sainte-Christie is also a member of the Grand Auch Cœur de Gascogne community association, which was founded in 2001 .

location

Sainte-Christie is about thirteen kilometers north-northeast of the city Auch on a hill between the rivers Gers in the west and Aulouste in the east. Sainte-Christie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montestruc-sur-Gers in the north, Gavarret-sur-Aulouste in the north-east, Mirepoix in the east and south-east, Preignan in the south, Roquelaure in the south-west, Roquefort in the west and Puységur in the north-west.

The National Route 21 runs through the municipality .
