Bajonnette ( Occitan : Bajoneta ) is a French commune with 106 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitanie region ( Midi-Pyrénées until 2015 ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Condom and the municipal association Bastides de Lomagne, founded in 2012 . The inhabitants call themselves Bajonnettois .

Bajonnette is located in the area of the former county of Fézensac , 25 kilometers northeast of Auch and about 55 kilometers west-northwest of Toulouse . In the west, the Petite Auroue , a tributary of the Auroue, forms the municipal boundary . In the 7.48 km² area of the municipality, which is characterized by wide grain fields, there are several smaller reservoirs, which mainly serve to irrigate the arable land. The height differences are minimal: the village of Bajonnette is 183 m above sea level; The highest point in the municipality is reached only 400 m to the west at 217 m above sea level. The municipality includes the hamlets of Le Boy, La Herrère, Laoueillé, Esquéhès, Cazeneuve, La Tucole, Les Barthètes, Monplaisir, Chambord, La Bouscarotte, Le Périgourdin, Nizon, La Bourdette, Gardebois and Maries . Bajonnette is bounded by the neighboring communities of Cadeilhan in the north, Bivès in the northeast (point of contact), Monfort in the east and southeast, Saint-Brès in the south, Goutz in the west and Brugnens in the northwest.

The bayonet is located away from the nationally important traffic axes. The D 654 trunk road runs from Fleurance to Mauvezin to the northeast of the municipality . In the city of L'Isle-Jourdain , 38 kilometers away, there is a connection to the motorway-like RN 124 in the direction of Toulouse .
