Forsthaus Johannesthal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Forsthaus Johannesthal , also called Wietschenort , is a deserted area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The desert is located in Western Pomerania , about 80 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 30 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) . The desert lies north of the Schwarzbach, also called Molstow.

Johannesthal was originally a Vorwerk of the Petershagen manor . In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's description of the Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784) it is only mentioned briefly as "Johannisthal" in Petershagen. In the second half of the 19th century, Johannesthal was occasionally called Wietschenort after a nearby abandoned farm called Wietschenort.

In the 19th century Johannesthal (Wietschenort) was leased by the owners of the Petershagen manor. From a political point of view, it temporarily (evidenced for 1864) formed its own Petershagen-Wietschenort estate . The Petershagen-Wietschenort estate comprised an area of 271 hectares and had 9 inhabitants in 1 household.

As part of the division of the Petershagen manor, Johannesthal was sold in 1905 to the Berlin entrepreneur Robert Stock , who had the areas reforested. At the same time, Stock bought further areas in the area, which were combined to form a new forest estate district of Sophienwalde . A forester's house was initially set up in Johannesthal, but it was soon abandoned.

Since then Johannesthal has been desolate . The desert is now in the area of the Polish Gmina Rymań (rural community Roman) .
