Forsthaus Eichhof

Forsthaus Eichhof , also known as the Eichhof extension , is a deserted area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The desert is located in Hinterpommern , about 80 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 30 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) , near the eastern bank of the Studnica (Steudnitzsee) .

Eichhof belonged to the Sternin manor until the 19th century . On the Prussian General Staff map from 1840 it is recorded as "Eichhof or Göhl Kathen". As part of the separation , Eichhof, as well as Groß Seebeck, Klein Seebeck, Knakenkaten and two other wood-keepers' cottages, were separated from Sternin and assigned to the newly formed community of Popiel-Seebeck . Heinrich Berghaus (1867) described Eichhof in this context as a "subsidiary work". In 1871 Eichhof had 11 inhabitants, in 1905 only 1 inhabitant. In 1905 Eichhof came to the Sophienwalde forestry district , where it was used as a forester's house. With the dissolution of the forest district in 1928, Eichhof came to the Reselkow community .

Until 1945, Eichhof formed a residential area in the community of Reselkow and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania . After 1945, Eichhof, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. Today Eichhof is desolate . The desert is in the area of the Polish Gmina Rymań (rural community Roman) .
