Kamień Rymański

Kamień Rymański (German Hohenfier ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It is located in the area of ​​the Gmina Rymań (rural community Roman) and belongs with this to the powiat Kołobrzeski (Kolberg district) .

The place of residence is in Western Pomerania , about 85 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 25 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

Hohenfier was laid out in the 18th century as a preliminary work for the Reselkow manor over 2 kilometers east of Reselkow on a small lake. When the manor was divided up by the then owner in 1896, Hohenfier also went to a buyer as a share of Reselkow B. The last owner of Hohenfier before 1945 was a Ernst Brandenburg . In 1816 there were 20 inhabitants in Hohenfier, in 1885 64 inhabitants and in 1925 129 inhabitants.

In political terms, Hohenfier initially belonged to the Reselkow estate . After the estate was divided up, a separate Hohenfier estate was formed in 1900. With the dissolution of the manor districts in Prussia, Hohenfier was incorporated into the rural community of Reselkow in 1928. As part of the rural community Reselkow, Hohenfier belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania until 1945 .

After the Second World War , Hohenfier, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. The population was driven out . The place of residence was given the Polish place name Kamień Rymański .

Kamień Rymański is now part of the Rzesznikowo Schulzenamt in Gmina Rymań . In 2013 there were 46 inhabitants.
