William Joseph Trudel

William Joseph Trudel MAfr (born April 21, 1890 in Hegewisch , Illinois , USA ; † October 6, 1968 ) was an American Roman Catholic religious chaplain and Vicar Apostolic of Tabora .

Life

William Joseph Trudel joined the religious order of the White Fathers in and received on 29 June 1920, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 25, 1933, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the titular bishop of Noba and Vicar Apostolic of Tabora. The Apostolic Delegate for the British Colonies in Africa, Archbishop Arthur Hinsley , donated him episcopal ordination on July 16 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Uganda , Joseph Georges Edouard Michaud MAfr, and the Vicar Apostolic of Mwanza , Anton Oomen MAfr.

William Joseph Trudel resigned as Vicar Apostolic of Tabora on February 4, 1949. Trudel attended the second, third and fourth session of the Second Vatican Council .
