Modular recordings

Modular Records is an Australian record label and mainly sells electronic music. It was founded in 1998 by Steve Pavlovic in Sydney. In the beginning it was a joint project of EMI , but is now half owned by Universal Music in Australia. Modular's local artists include: Eskimo Joe , Ben Lee , The Avalanches , Wolfmother , Cut Copy , Van She, and The Presets . In addition, the label takes care of several foreign acts that release in Australia. These include: Yeah Yeah Yeahs , Chromeo , Klaxons , New Young Pony Club and MSTRKRFT .
