MSTRKRFT (pronounced masterkraft ) is a Canadian electro house project founded in 2005 . It consists of the two DJs JFK (Jesse F. Keeler) and Al-P (actually Alex Puodziukas).

history

MSTRKRFT was founded in 2005. Jesse F. Keeler was previously in the indie rock band Death from Above 1979 , Al-P with the electro pop band Girlsareshort and also worked as a producer for Death from Above 1979.

The first singles, Easy Love and Work on You , were released on January 31st and July 6th, 2006. On July 18th, the album The Looks followed in the USA and in England on February 2nd of the following year. MSTRKRFT had previously created a number of remixes for artists such as Buck 65 and The Kills .

MSTRKRFT produced the EP How to Kill by Die Mannequin and the album Dancing with Daggers by Magneta Lane .
