Mohamed El-Asmer (born April 3, 1988 in Berlin ) is a German actor of Lebanese - Arab descent.

Life

From the age of 17 El-Asmer received stage roles at the Vaganten stage in Berlin. He played in Klassenfeind 2.0 (2006) and Ehrensache (2008) under the direction of Folke Braband and in underdogs.de (2010) under the direction of Stefan Lochau . Both Klassenfeind 2.0 and underdogs.de were nominated for the Ikarus Theater Prize. In the meantime, he did his military service with the military police . In October 2009 Mohamed El-Asmer began studying business administration at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin .

He was seen in 6 episodes of the television series Alone Against Time in 2010. In 2011 Mohamed El-Asmer starred in the comedy on Kurfürstendamm alongside Judy Winter and Chariklia Baxevanos in Folke Braband's play Spätlese . The role of the caretaker Tarek was El-Asmer's most important role until then. The piece later went on tour with him.

social commitment

El-Asmer has been working for “Jugendkreativ eV” since 2004, a youth association in which older pupils and students offer tuition to younger pupils. In 2007, a year before his Abitur, he founded the “anti-violence soccer tournament” sponsored by a sporting goods manufacturer at the Carl von Ossietzky Oberschule. The tournament has been held every year since it was founded, and the former initiator is still involved in organizing the football tournament.
