Mohammad Sajjadi

Mohammad Sajjadi ( Persian رسول اسلامی; * October 16, 1961 in Tehran ) is an Iranian journalist and diplomat .

He holds a BA in International Relations from the College of International Relations, affiliated with the Department of State. and Masters in Political Science from Tehran University . He is married and has three children.

Career

From 1985 he worked for the National Iranian Radio and Television , where he was radio editor until 1989 and then television editor until 1990. He made more than 100 articles from various fields such as history, politics, international relations and economics.

In 1990 he joined the foreign service. From 1994 to 1998 he was employed at the Iranian embassy in Jakarta . From 2001 to 2005 he was Ambassador to Bangkok and at the same time was Permanent Representative of the Iranian Government to the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific . From 2005 to 2007 he headed the West Asia department . From 2007 to 2010 he headed the political department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From March 22, 2010 to May 1, 2013 he was permanent representative of the government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad next to the United Nations Office in Geneva .
