The Mohaupt Point is a headland that the eastern foothills of the Currituck Island in the High Jump archipelago off the Knox Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke Lands forms.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the northern part of Currituck Island as Mohaupt Island in 1956 on the assumption that it was an island in its own right. Participants of the Second Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956–1958) cleared this mistake out. Instead, the name was transferred to the headland described here in 1961. Namesake is Harold Ernest Mohaupt (1916-1971), crew member on flights during the US-American Operation Highjump (1946-1947) in this area.
