Moissei Lwowitsch Ruchimowitsch
Moissei Lwowitsch Ruchimowitsch ( Russian Моисей Львович Рухимович ; * October 1889 in Kagalnik , today Rostov Oblast ; † July 29, 1938 ) was a Russian revolutionary .
Life
Ruchimowitsch joined the socialist movement in 1904 . In 1919 and 1920 he was a member of the Council of People's Commissars of Ukraine . In the 1920s he supported Josef Stalin in the struggle within the party. From 1924 until his death he was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party . In the mid-1930s he was People's Commissar of the Defense Industry . During the Stalinist purges , he was arrested in 1937, on 28 July 1938 sentenced to death and one day later shot .
