The Mona Vale Road is an arterial road in the northeast of the Greater Sydney area in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales . It connects the Pacific Highway in the northern suburb of Pymble with the Pittwater Road in Mona Vale . Mona Vale Road is part of Metroad 3 which stretches southwest across Ryde Road , Lane Cove Road , Devlin Street , Church Street , Concord Road , Homebush Bay Drive , Centenary Drive , Roberts Road , the Wiley Avenue and finally King Georges Road continues. Together these streets form a western brace around the city of Sydney.

At the junction with the Pacific Highway (Met-1), Ryde Road coming from the southwest becomes Mona Vale Road, which continues northeast. It leads out of the city through the suburb of St. Ives and on the border between Garigal National Park and Ku-ring-gai-Chase National Park to Ingleside .

In Mona Vale, the road ends on Pittwater Road (Met-10). From there, Barrenjoey Road (S14) continues along the coast to the northeast.
