Mondo Marcio (* 1. December 1986 in Milan as Gianmarco Marcello ) is an Italian rapper and music producer .

biography

Mondo Marcios musical career began when the rapper Bassi Maestro became aware of him and make him joint first Featuring invited. In 2004 his debut album Mondo Marcio came out. Features are included by Bassi Maestro , Ape , and Zampa . In the same year he published his first mixtape "Fuori di qua", on which Fabri Fibra was represented. At the end of 2005 he was signed to the sub- label Virgin Music.

In January 2006 he released his second solo album Solo un uomo . This was followed by the single Dentro alla scatola , which, like the album, entered the top ten in the charts. In addition, Nessuna via d'uscita and Segui la stella was released as a single. In the same year he released his second mixtape Nessuna via d'uscita .

His third solo album called Generazione X was released in 2007 but had less success than its predecessor and sold over 25,000 copies.

In the spring of 2008 Mondo Marcio founded his own independent label, Mondo Records, where he released his third mixtape In cosa credi . In 2010 the fourth solo album was released with the title Animale in gabbia .

In 2011 two free mixtapes ( Il fumo uccide and Puoi Fare Di Meglio ) and the mixtape Musica da serial killer were released to shorten the waiting time for his fifth solo album, which is to be released in 2012.

On August 3, 2012, Mondo Marcio announced via his Facebook profile that his fifth solo album Cose dell'altro mondo will now be released on October 2. The first single is the song Fight Rap and was released on July 31st. The second single Senza cuore and another free mixtape 4 conigli neri followed on August 31st . Cose dell'altro mondo rose to number 2 in the Italian charts for one week in the 40th calendar week of 2012 . For the first time in his career, Mondo Marcio was able to jump to number 2 on the Italian album charts.

In May 2013, Mondo Marcio announced that he will release a special edition of his solo album Cose dell'altro mondo on June 25th . On the album there will be 4 additional bonus songs and the first solo album ( Mondo Marcio ) in a revised version.
