Solo un uomo is the second solo album by the Milanese rapper Mondo Marcio . It was released by EMI on January 27, 2006 and was distributed by Virgin . In the same year a "Gold Edition" was published, which contained an additional mixtape (Nessuna via di uscita).

In the run-up to the release of the album, the song Dentro alla scatola was released as a single. The music video was on MTV for a few weeks .

content

Mondo Marcio's style on Solo un uomo is based on US gangsta rap with aggressive lyrics , but there are also some quieter songs such as Nel bene e nel male or Ancora qua . Features are among others Tormento (then a member of the rap and R & B - band Sottotono ), Irene La Medica and the band Finley .

All tracks were produced by Mondo Marcio alone - with the exception of tracks 7, 12 and 16 (produced by Fish).

The album reached # 10 as the highest ranking in the album charts and stayed in the top 100 for a total of 9 weeks.

For Solo un uomo , Mondo Marcio received a gold record for more than 30,000 copies sold. The album has now been awarded platinum status for more than 94,000 copies sold.
