Monika Hetterle

Monika Hetterle (born July 3, 1940 in Weimar ) is a German actress .

Life

Monika Hetterle graduated from the Leipzig Theater School from 1963 to 1966 . Since 1961 she has played at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin , of which she was a member until the end of the 2004/05 season. She continued to be a guest there until 2012, and in 2013 she appeared at the Theater des Ostens . Hetterle often appeared on stage under the direction of her husband, the actor and director and long-time director of the Gorki Theater Albert Hetterle .

Since the beginning of the 1970s, Hetterle has been working again and again for film and television, for example in the crime series The prosecutor has the floor , Police call 110 and the crime scene or the neighborhood stories .

In 1985 Monika Hetterle was awarded the Goethe Prize of the City of Berlin . She was married to her husband until his death in 2006, their sons Marc and Alexander also work as actors.
