Monika Hirsch (born February 28, 1959 in Mainz ) is a former German sprinter and long jumper .

At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 , she reached the quarter-finals over 100 meters and was eliminated with the German team in the run-up to the 4-by-100-meter relay .

In 1986 she was fourth in the long jump at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Madrid and ninth at the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart . The following year she was seventh in the same discipline at the European Indoor Championships in Liévin .

In 1981 she became German champion over 100 meters and runner-up over 200 meters , and in 1986 she became a long jump champion. In the hall it was about 60 meters in 1980 German champion and 1986 runner-and took 1987 and 1988 the national title in the long jump.

Monika Hirsch started for USC Mainz .
