Monika Jarosch

Monika Jarosch (* 1940 in Bonn ) is an Austrian lawyer and political scientist .

Life

She studied law and became a Dr. jur. PhD. Then she worked as a judge and lawyer.

From 1991 to 2000 she studied political science at the University of Innsbruck (diploma). In 1998 she co-organized the international conference “Combating Racial Discrimination: Affirmative Action as a Model for Europe?” In Innsbruck. Since 2000 she has been an external lecturer at various Austrian universities (Graz, Innsbruck, Linz and Salzburg); at the University of Innsbruck she is an associated member of the gender research platform .

In 1991 she became an employee of the Innsbruck Association of the Emancipation and Partnership Working Group , of which she is the chairwoman . She is editor-in-chief and co-editor of the feminist periodical AEP information . She has also been co-editor of the Gaismair yearbook of the Michael Gaismair Society since 2005 .
