The Monoblepharidales are an order of mushrooms .

features

The species form filamentous, sometimes branched thalli . The asexual reproduction is done by zoospores or car spores. The zoospores are flagellated and have a kinetosome , which is arranged parallel to a centriole , as well as a striped disk around the kinetosome, microtubules , which extend forward from this disk. They also have an aggregate of ribosomes and a rumposome (cistern) that is attached to a microbody .

The sexual reproduction is done by oogamy . Single-flagellated antherozoids are formed in antheridia , uncultivated female gametes in oogonia .

Systematics

The class was first described by JH Schaffner in 1909, as a class, but with the name Monoblepharideae. This has been corrected according to the ICBN without changing the author or the publication date.
