The Mont Rogneux ( 3,083.8 m above sea level ) is the northernmost three-thousand-meter peak of the Combin group in the Swiss Valais Alps . The wide panoramic mountain is easily accessible and a popular ski tour destination, especially in winter .
Routes
The summit offers three equally difficult ascent options with difficulty level T3 ( demanding mountain hiking ):
- From Cabane Brunet over the east ridge (3 hours)
- From the southwest, from Liddes (about 5 hours)
- From Chandonne via the Col de Mille and the north-west ridge (about 5 hours)
