Monte Café is a place in the Mé-Zóchi district on the island of São Tomé in the island state of São Tomé and Príncipe . In 2012 there were 684 inhabitants.

geography

The place is located at an altitude of about 670  m, about 4.5 kilometers west of the provincial capital Trindade and about 1.5 km as the crow flies from Batepá . With its location in the mountains, on the slope of São Pedro , the place is well suited for growing coffee and is therefore one of the oldest plantations on São Tomé. The plantation was established in 1858.
