Order of Montfort

The Order of Montfort has been awarded since 1985 for maintaining friendly relations with the state of Vorarlberg . The award is made by the state government in accordance with the law or the ordinance on the Order of Montfort. The order goes back to the noble family Montfort , whose dominion included Feldkirch and Bregenz .

The Montfort Order can be awarded in the classes Great Montfort Order , Montfort Order in Gold and Montfort Order in Silver .
