The moor near Gerdehaus is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Faßberg in the district of Celle .

The former nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 162 is 10  hectares in size. It was almost completely part of the FFH area "Heiden und Magerrasen in der Südheide". The area has been under nature protection since April 16, 1988. At the end of July 2019, the newly designated nature reserve “ Heiden und Magerrasen in der Südheide ” opened up. The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Celle.

The area lies south of Faßberg and placed a small moorland under protection. It is mostly overgrown with trees, but there are also areas that are free of tree vegetation. This state should be maintained by decussing measures. In the west there are several small, former fish ponds on the edge of the area , which are silting up more and more and sometimes overgrowing with algal blooms . In the south there is an extensively used poor meadow .

The former nature reserve, which drains in the direction of the Landwehrbach, which flows into the Örtze at Müden (Örtze) , is completely surrounded by agricultural land . It is planned to close the ditch that runs through the area to the Landwehrbach, but this has so far failed due to the farmer who owns the land.
