Moos ( Italian Moso ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality of Sexten in South Tyrol . Moss lies at the entrance to the Fischleintal . In 1900, moss consisted almost exclusively of farms, which were largely destroyed in the First World War. Nowadays, Moos is a tourist village with numerous hotels. The place name comes from the former swampy terrain.
