The upper reaches of the Moosbeeke begins in the border area of Hopstener Bauernschaft Staden and Recker Bauernschaft Twenhusen with the section name Flötte. After passing the village of Hopsten, it flows through the farming community of Rüschendorf. After Rüschendorf, she leaves the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and moves to Lower Saxony in the municipality of Schapen . Here the name changes to Moosbeeke. It passes the location of Schapen to the north, as does the location of Beesten. It flows into the Große Aa between Freren and Beesten.
