The Moosenmättle is a landscape protection area in the area of ​​the city of Wolfach that was designated by ordinance on 10 August 1989 by the Ortenaukreis district office .

location

The Moosenmättle landscape protection area is located east of the Kirnbach district on the border with the Rottweil district.

Landscape character

The protected area comprises a typical landscape section of the Middle Black Forest with large forest areas, which are interrupted by meadows and pasture fields with individual willow trees. There are also some individual farmsteads typical of the Black Forest in the reserve.

Contiguous protected areas

The landscape protection area partially overlaps with the FFH area Middle Black Forest near Hornberg and Schramberg and is located in the Black Forest Middle / North Nature Park .
