Morag Siller

Morag Siller (born November 1, 1969 in Edinburgh , Scotland , † April 15, 2016 in Manchester , England ) was a British actress , voice-over artist and radio presenter.

Life

Morag Siller was born in Edinburgh in 1969 and adopted with her twin brother at the age of three. Actually, Siller wanted to be a pianist during her school days until she realized that she would not be able to practice this profession professionally. Because of her height, she was not suitable for the police service either.

She made her first appearances during her school days, mostly to have a reason not to have to go to school. She attended the Edinburgh Acting School part-time until she moved to London at the age of 18. There she enrolled at the Sylvia Young Theater School , and Siller also took courses at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . While still in school, she got a small role in David Puttnam's film Memphis Belle .

Morag Siller died of breast cancer on April 15, 2016 at the age of 46.

Acting career

Since 1992 Siller has had numerous film roles, West End theater, television and radio appearances. She made some commercials and pop videos, such as: B. Morrissey , Holly Johnson , Thompson Twins, and Comic Relief . In 2000 she followed her calling: She conceived and produced a comedy sketch show , The Brushed Forward Arrangement.

Personal

In May 2005 Siller married her life partner, the classical musician Tim Nicholson. The couple lived childless in Cheshire , England.
