Morattab Khodro or Morattab Industrial Manufacturing Co. is an Iranian manufacturer of motor vehicles based in Tehran .

history

In 1962 the production of automobiles began . The brand name is Morattab .

In 2000 616 passenger cars were built , in the following year 337 and 2002 688. For 2003, 1369 cars and 223 pick-ups were delivered.

Opportunities include SUVs to license from Land Rover . There is a choice of station wagons with two and four doors as well as pick-ups. The vehicles have all-wheel drive . In 1999 the revised version of Pazhan appeared . For this purpose, an engine with a displacement of 2400 cm³ and an output of 78 kW has been handed over and, for the following years, a V6 engine with a displacement of 3000 cm³ and around 120 kW output. According to a message from the Birmingham Post , the model will continue to be produced after the original Land Rover Defender has been discontinued . Production of the Pazhan ceased in 2016.

The SsangYong Musso has also been manufactured since 2003 .

The company itself also calls the SsangYong Rexton .
