Morina ( Albanian also Morinë , Serbian - Cyrillic Морина ) is a village in western Kosovo that belongs to the municipality of Gjakova .
geography
Morina is located on the edge of the Albanian Alps south of the Bjeshkët e Nemuna National Park at an altitude of around 500 m. i. J. The Albanian border with the crossing at Qafa e Morinës (Morina Pass) is around five kilometers to the west. About 18 kilometers to Gjakova via the M-9.1 , which passes the village a little south.
