Moritz Kienemann

Moritz Kienemann (* 1990 in Munich ) is a German actor and theater director .

Life

Kienemann grew up in Munich and has appeared on stage for numerous Munich youth theater clubs, including the M8 MIT! -Project of the Münchner Kammerspiele, the youth club at the Residenztheater Munich, the youth club at the Munich Volkstheater and the Theaterspielhaus Munich. Between 2011 and 2015 he studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . At the same time he played in the Berliner Arbeiter-Theater as well as at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and the Berlin Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz . After his studies, his first engagement took him to the Munich Volkstheater , where he was employed from 2015 to 2017. At the beginning of the 2017/2018 season, Kienemann switched to the Staatsschauspiel Dresden as a permanent member of the ensemble .

In 2018 Kienemann was awarded the Erich Ponto Prize for outstanding artistic achievements.
