Moritz Nobbe

Moritz August Nobbe (born September 22, 1834 in Magdeburg ; † December 6, 1910 in Niedertopfstedt ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Nobbe attended the Roßleben monastery school from 1847 to 1853 and studied law and administrative sciences in Munich and Berlin from 1853 to 1856 , where he also took his first legal exam. Between 1856 and 1857 he was an auscultator at the Erfurt District Court . In 1858 he leased the Niedertopfstedt family estate from his brother. In 1873 he was appointed to the Royal Economic College and in 1877 to the German Agricultural Councilelected. In 1872 he became director of the Central German Horse Breeding Association and finally in 1879 he was appointed to the economic council. He was also a member of the district committee and district assembly, head of office, registrar, member of the synodal board, the district and railway council in Frankfurt and honorary member of the central veterinary association of the province of Saxony. Between 1891 and 1902 he was chairman of the Evangelical Social Congress .

From 1884 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Erfurt 4 Erfurt , Schleusingen , Ziegenrück and the German Reich Party .
