Moriz von Rauch (born March 1, 1794 in Heilbronn ; † February 1, 1849 in Heilbronn; also Moritz von Rauch ) was a paper manufacturer in Heilbronn .

The Rauch brothers already owned a tobacco, oil and colored wood mill with an attached trading company, which their grandfather Johann Benjamin Rauch (1703–1776) founded together with Christian Becht in 1762. Her father Johann Max Moriz Rauch (1754-1818) was ennobled in 1808. Around 1820 the brothers Moriz and Adolf von Rauch set up their paper mill Gebrüder Rauch , in which they put an English paper machine into operation in 1823.

Moriz von Rauch had been married to Charlotte Katharina Wilhelmine Hauck (1797–1876) since 1820 and had eight children together, including Friedrich von Rauch . His sister Emilie von Rauch (1795–1821) was married to Philipp Albrecht von Gemmingen (1782–1852). Moriz von Rauch's daughter Helene von Rauch (1834–1908) married Philipp and Emilie's son Moriz von Gemmingen (1817–1883).

Rauch lived with his family in the Rauch villa , but after five children were born they passed them on to his brother Adolf and moved into the Rauch'sche Palais built by his father and his uncle .
