Morten Mølster

Morten Mølster (born March 31, 1962 , † January 14, 2013 ) was a Norwegian guitarist who was known in Norway as a member of the alternative rock band The September When , internationally but above all for his participation on Nils Petter Molvær's album Khmer .

Live and act

Morten Mølster played in the Circulasione Totale Orchestra in the 1980s (album Accent , with Audun Kleive , Kjell Arne Jensen , Eivin One Pedersen , Frode Gjerstad and John Stevens ). He was a member of The September When in the 1990s and was a member of the band between 1990 and 1996 (and again after they formed in 2008). Then he worked in public relations , but also as managing director (1999–2000) and chairman (2012–13) of the Stavanger Symfoniorkester . In the Stavanger area he was active in the music scene, for example as a co-organizer of the Maijazz festival . He died of a heart attack in early 2013 at the age of fifty .
