Moses Kipkosgei Kigen

Moses Kipkosgei Kigen (born January 10, 1983 in Elgeyo-Marakwet County ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2003 he first drew attention to himself when he won the Würzburg Residence Run in 27:48 minutes, which was the fifth fastest time of the year over 10 kilometers worldwide, his first of four victories so far on the 10 km route of the Paderborn Easter Run (more followed in 2004, 2005 and 2007) and won the Kassel City Run .

Further successes over the 21.097 km distance were not long in coming: in 2005 he won the City-Pier-City Loop in The Hague and came second in the Berlin Half Marathon , in 2006 he repeated his success in The Hague and won the Paderborn Easter Run at the Half marathon route. In 2007 he set his personal best as fifth in the Berlin Half Marathon with 1:00:39 h.

In 2009 he won the Nairobi Marathon with a course record.
