Mosquito - Nothing stings better was a youth program that was produced from 1987 to 1995 by the Sender Freies Berlin (SFB) for its third program, but partly also broadcast on the first program of ARD. Each program had a specific theme, such as death , love or drugs . The aim of the program was to address 10 to 14 year old schoolchildren and to educate them about these issues. Video clips were shown in the program and young people were interviewed. The Berlin rock band Die Ärzte contributed their so-called mosquito songs until 1989 , which were written especially for this program.
