The Mosman River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland , in the Far North Queensland region on the Cape York Peninsula .

River course

The river has its source in the western part of the Quinkan Indigenous Reserve , an Aboriginal reserve in the Atherton Tablelands , which form part of the Great Dividing Range , about 90 km southwest of Cooktown . It flows north-northeast and flows into the Laura River near the small town of Laura .
