Motutangi is a small settlement in the Far North District of Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .

geography

The settlement is located around 20 km north-northwest of Awanui and around 11 km southeast of Houhora on the Aupōuri Peninsula . The east coast with Rangaunu Bay extends around 4 km east of Motutangi . New Zealand State Highway 1 runs north through the settlement .
