The Motze or Schlawer Motze ( Polish: Moszczenica ) is an approximately 19 kilometer long left tributary of the Wipper ( Wieprza ) in Western Pomerania .

The entire river bed of the Motze from the headwaters to the confluence with the Wipper, which in turn flows into the Baltic Sea , is located in Western Pomerania . The catchment area of ​​the Motze is about 110 km².

The Motze or Schlawer Motze rises east of the church village Malchow ( Malechowo ), which is about 14 kilometers southeast of the Baltic Sea town of Rügenwalde ( Darłowo ), first flows northwards, then turns north-east at the height of the village Karwitz ( Karwice ), flows south of the village Schlawin ( Słowino ) at a distance of one kilometer from the town center in a north-easterly direction and then turns in an arc to the east to flow into the Wipper at Schlawe .
