Mount Barden is a 2910 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 4 km northwest of Mount Sharp in the northern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the US ionospheric physicist Virgil W. Barden, who was part of the crew of the Byrd station in the winter of 1957.
