Mount Bensley is a 1920 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 13.5 km south-southwest of Mount Starlight .
The mountain was mapped using aerial photographs and surveys that were taken or carried out between 1955 and 1965 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it in 1966 after Patrick Allen Bensley, a carpenter at Mawson Station in 1965.
