Mount Cronus is a striking, conical and 900 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 13 km south of Amundsen Bay and 15 km west-southwest of Reference Peak .
The mountain was first sighted in October 1956 by a team from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . This named him in English spelling after Kronos , father of Zeus from Greek mythology .
