The Mount Dark is a turn 816 m high mountain in the Pensacola Mountains of the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . In the Patuxent Range it rises 5 km east-northeast of Mount Lowry and north of the Wrigley Bluffs in the Schmidt Hills .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2010. It is named after Bill Dark from the British Antarctic Survey , who worked in the Pensacola Mountains and on the Antarctic Peninsula in the 1980s .
